Trinity Insurance Brokers, Inc. (TIB) which was then known as Trinity Insurance Consultants, Inc. was incorporated in May 1987 with the aim of professionalizing client servicing in the insurance industry by way of specializing in designing insurance packages tailor-fit to the client's needs and budget. The service distinction envisioned would have three key attributes: customized, cost effective and personalized. On its maiden year, Trinity with only 3 employees wrote a humble P3M worth of premiums. Its initial clients referred the Company to other clients who then likewise referred to others as the Company's roster of satisfied clients grew.

In a few years time, Trinity's service became a by-word in the insurance brokerage business. As the Company grew in expertise and confidence, new product lines were developed and operations were expanded. In 1994, a subsidiary was established - Trinity Healthcare Services, Inc. (THS) which was then called Trinity Life & Health; to handle and service the employee benefit requirements as well as individual needs of corporate clients. In September 2004, another subsidiary, Trinity Insurance Brokers, Cebu, Inc. (TIBC) was launched to cater to the shipping capital of the country.
